Complete solutions for clamping systems

Schlenker special collet sleeves and lock nuts directly from the manufacturer

For clamping a work piece, a collet sleeve is required in addition to the collet, with an inner taper and shaft diameter matching the collet.
The collet is pushed into the collet sleeve until it comes to rest on the spring.
Afterwards the lock nut, which acts as a stop, is screwed onto the spindle, which pushes the collet into the basic position. The collet opens and closes through the axial movement of the collet sleeve.
For overgrip collets, we can adapt the taper angle of the existing collet sleeve.
There are also no customer-specific limits, as we can produce collet sleeves and lock nuts according to drawings and samples.
Another option is to reduce the collet sleeves, so it is possible to produce on the same machine with a smaller type of collet, but the suitable spring and lock nut are also required for this.
For environmental reasons and in order to save the costs of a new purchase at the same time, used or worn collet sleeves can be reground or reworked within shortest time.

If the diversity of collet sleeves and lock nuts has convinced you, please do not hesitate to contact our Schlenker team.
