Pressure collet chucks

  • Pressure collet chucks are intended for tool clamping in conventional and CNC lathes. They are used directly in the spindle or the collet chuck.
  • From dia. 6 all collet chucks come standard with transverse grooves

Stem collet chucks

    • In order to support the work piece the use of an extended collet chuck is recommended.
    • Depending on customer requirements the stem can be supplied in various lengths and types.
    • If the workpiece is clamped only at the front outside the tapered area in the collet chuck, a special Schlenker version is available to extend the service life of the collet chuck.

          • Collapse h8, i.e. only nominal size can be clamped
          • Special properties: With sealing for interior cooling (suited for up to 120 bar)   colored ring as identification(no sealing function)
          • Remark: Shafts with lateral surface are useable to a certain extent only, i.e. the surface must be located behind the rubber plug in order to ensure proper sealing

         

        Sealed and with spray nozzle

          • Concentricity and repeat accuracy: average 3µm
          • Collapse h8, i.e. only nominal size can be clamped
          • Special properties: With sealing for interior cooling (suited for up to 120 bar) and additional spray nozzles in order to allow the coolant to be sprayed onto the cutting edge when using tools without cooling channel. Colored ring as identification (no sealing function)
          • Remark: Shafts with lateral surface are useable to a certain extent only, i.e. the surface must be located behind the rubber plug in order to ensure proper sealing

         

        UP version

          • Concentricity and repeat accuracy: average 3µm
          • Collapse h10 in CENTRO P (no negative influence on the concentricity and holding force). Nominal size reduced by T in standard collet chucks: it is however recommend to only clamp nominal sizes to ensure max. possible concentricity and repeatability as well as holding force.
          • Special properties: Colored ring as identification(no sealing function)
